Now where there is forgiveness of these, there is no longer any offering for sin.

After several years ¹  I came to bring to my people gifts for the poor ²  and to present offerings, ³ 

By his will ¹  we have been made holy through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

For by one offering he has perfected for all time those who are made holy.

So when he came into the world, he said, “Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me.

and live ¹  in love, just as Christ also loved us ²  and gave himself for us, a sacrificial and fragrant offering ³  to God.

When he says above, “Sacrifices and offerings and whole burnt offerings and sin-offerings you did not desire nor did you take delight in them” ¹  (which are offered according to the law),

to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles. I serve ¹  the gospel of God ²  like a priest, so that the Gentiles may become an acceptable offering, ³  sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

Then Paul took the men the next day, ¹  and after he had purified himself ²  along with them, he went to the temple and gave notice ³  of the completion of the days of purification, ⁴  when ⁵  the sacrifice would be offered for each ⁶  of them.
