And many false prophets will appear and deceive ¹  many,

And many believed in Jesus ¹  there.

They cast out many demons and anointed many sick people with oil and healed them.

Think about the circumstances of your call, ¹  brothers and sisters. ²  Not many were wise by human standards, ³  not many were powerful, not many were born to a privileged position. ⁴ 

And we are sending ¹  with them our brother whom we have tested many times and found eager in many matters, but who now is much more eager than ever because of the great confidence he has in you.

So do not be afraid; ¹  you are more valuable than many sparrows.

But many who are first will be last, and the last first.

For many are called, but few are chosen.”

But they did not find anything, though many false witnesses came forward. Finally ¹  two came forward

Then ¹  the chief priests began to accuse him repeatedly.

They also said many other things against him, reviling ¹  him.

and because of his word many more ¹  believed.

While he was saying these things, many people ¹  believed in him.

So there was ¹  great joy ²  in that city.

Greet Mary, who has worked very hard for you.

So now there are many members, but one body.

Therefore, since we have such a hope, we behave with great boldness, ¹ 

For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ ¹  and they will mislead many.

It shrieked, threw him into terrible convulsions, and came out. The boy ¹  looked so much like a corpse that many said, “He is dead!”

Many scolded ¹  him to get him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”
