When ¹  they had done this, they caught so many fish that their nets started to tear. ² 

Then ¹  the whole group of them rose up and brought Jesus ²  before Pilate. ³ 

A great number of sick, blind, lame, and paralyzed people were lying in these walkways. ¹ 

More and more believers in the Lord were added to their number, ¹  crowds of both men and women.

for a crowd of people ¹  followed them, ²  screaming, “Away with him!”

Above all keep ¹  your love for one another fervent, ²  because love covers a multitude of sins. ³ 

Now ¹  the whole crowd ²  of people were praying outside at the hour of the incense offering. ³ 

Suddenly ¹  a vast, heavenly army ²  appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,

A great number of the people followed him, among them women ¹  who were mourning ²  and wailing for him.

So when they were dismissed, ¹  they went down to Antioch, ²  and after gathering the entire group ³  together, they delivered the letter.

When he said this, ¹  an argument ²  began ³  between the Pharisees and the Sadducees, and the assembly was divided.

Then ¹  Jesus went away with his disciples to the sea, and a great multitude from Galilee followed him. ²  And from Judea,

Jerusalem, ¹  Idumea, beyond the Jordan River, ²  and around Tyre ³  and Sidon ⁴  a great multitude came to him when they heard about the things he had done.

When this sound ¹  occurred, a crowd gathered and was in confusion, ²  because each one heard them speaking in his own language.

A crowd of people from the towns around Jerusalem ¹  also came together, bringing the sick and those troubled by unclean spirits. ²  They ³  were all ⁴  being healed.

So the twelve ¹  called ²  the whole group ³  of the disciples together and said, “It is not right for us to neglect the word of God to wait on tables. ⁴ 

The same thing happened in Iconium ¹  when Paul and Barnabas ²  went into the Jewish synagogue ³  and spoke in such a way that a large group ⁴  of both Jews and Greeks believed.

But the population ¹  of the city was divided; some ²  sided with the Jews, and some with the apostles.

When Paul had gathered a bundle of brushwood ¹  and was putting it on the fire, a viper came out because of the heat and fastened itself on his hand.

he should know that the one who turns a sinner back from his wandering path ¹  will save that person’s ²  soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.
