Have you suffered so many things for nothing? – if indeed it was for nothing.

So, since Christ suffered ¹  in the flesh, you also arm yourselves with the same attitude, because the one who has suffered in the flesh has finished with sin, ² 

But first he must ¹  suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.

Wasn’t ¹  it necessary ²  for the Christ ³  to suffer these things and enter into his glory?”

So then let those who suffer according to the will of God entrust their souls to a faithful Creator as they do good. ¹ 

She had endured a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all that she had. Yet instead of getting better, she grew worse.
