Because of these things the wrath of God is coming on the sons of disobedience. ¹ 

For human ¹  anger does not accomplish God’s righteousness. ² 

But because of your stubbornness ¹  and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath for yourselves in the day of wrath, when God’s righteous judgment is revealed! ² 

But what if God, willing to demonstrate his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience the objects ¹  of wrath ²  prepared for destruction? ³ 

For the law brings wrath, because where there is no law there is no transgression ¹  either.

Therefore it is necessary to be in subjection, not only because of the wrath of the authorities ¹  but also because of your conscience. ² 

“As I swore in my anger, ‘They will never enter my rest!’” ¹ 

but ¹  wrath and anger to those who live in selfish ambition ²  and do not obey the truth but follow ³  unrighteousness.

Much more then, because we have now been declared righteous ¹  by his blood, ²  we will be saved through him from God’s wrath. ³ 

You must put away every kind of bitterness, anger, wrath, quarreling, and evil, slanderous talk.

But now, put off all such things ¹  as anger, rage, malice, slander, abusive language from your mouth.

For God did not destine us for wrath ¹  but for gaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.

So I want the men ¹  to pray ²  in every place, lifting up holy hands ³  without anger or dispute.

because the great day of their ¹  wrath has come, and who is able to withstand it?” ² 

So John ¹  said to the crowds ²  that came out to be baptized by him, “You offspring of vipers! ³  Who warned you to flee ⁴  from the coming wrath?

Woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing their babies in those days! For there will be great distress ¹  on the earth and wrath against this people.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of people ¹  who suppress the truth by their ²  unrighteousness, ³ 

But if our unrighteousness demonstrates ¹  the righteousness of God, what shall we say? The God who inflicts wrath is not unrighteous, is he? ²  (I am speaking in human terms.) ³ 

Do not avenge yourselves, dear friends, but give place to God’s wrath, ¹  for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay,” ²  says the Lord.

Let nobody deceive you with empty words, for because of these things God’s wrath comes on the sons of disobedience. ¹
