and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.

Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles.

“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.

Then Elijah appeared before them along with Moses, ¹  and they were talking with Jesus.

An ¹  angel of the Lord, ²  standing on the right side of the altar of incense, appeared ³  to him.

and all humanity ¹  will see the salvation of God.’” ² 

[Then an angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him.

and ¹  saying, “The Lord has really risen, and has appeared to Simon!” ² 

In a little while you ¹  will see me no longer; again after a little while, you ²  will see me.” ³ 

And again another scripture says, “They will look on the one whom they have pierced.” ¹ 

Last of all, as though to one born at the wrong time, ¹  he appeared to me also.

and they will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.

But get up and stand on your feet, for I have appeared to you for this reason, to designate you in advance ¹  as a servant and witness ²  to the things ³  you have seen ⁴  and to the things in which I will appear to you.

Then everyone ¹  will see the Son of Man arriving in the clouds ²  with great power and glory.

They appeared in glorious splendor and spoke about his departure ¹  that he was about to carry out ²  at Jerusalem. ³ 

Then ¹  they will see the Son of Man arriving in a cloud ²  with power and great glory.

And tongues spreading out like a fire ¹  appeared to them and came to rest on each one of them.

but as it is written: “Those who were not told about him will see, and those who have not heard will understand.” ¹ 

Then he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters ¹  at one time, most of whom are still alive, ²  though some have fallen asleep. ³ 

Pursue peace with everyone, and holiness, ¹  for without it no one will see the Lord.
