Now the Jewish religious leaders ¹  refused to believe ²  that he had really been blind and had gained his sight until at last they summoned ³  the parents of the man who had become able to see. ⁴ 

came ¹  to me and stood beside me ²  and said to me, ‘Brother Saul, regain your sight!’ ³  And at that very moment ⁴  I looked up and saw him. ⁵ 

Regaining his sight ¹  he said, “I see people, but they look like trees walking.”

But ¹  when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled back.

“What do you want me to do for you?” He replied, ¹  “Lord, let me see again.” ² 

Jesus ¹  said to him, “Receive ²  your sight; your faith has healed you.” ³ 

Jesus ¹  looked up ²  and saw the rich putting their gifts into the offering box. ³ 

Moved with compassion, Jesus touched their eyes. Immediately they received their sight and followed him.

Then ¹  he looked up to heaven and said with a sigh, “Ephphatha” (that is, “Be opened”). ² 

and he has seen in a vision ¹  a man named Ananias come in and place his hands on him so that he may see again.”

Immediately ¹  something like scales ²  fell from his eyes, and he could see again. He ³  got up and was baptized,

The blind see, the ¹  lame walk, lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor have good news proclaimed to them.

Then ¹  Jesus said to him, ²  “What do you want me to do for you?” The blind man replied, “Rabbi, ³  let me see again.” ⁴ 

Jesus said to him, “Go, your faith has healed you.” Immediately he regained ¹  his sight and followed him on the road.

And immediately he regained ¹  his sight and followed Jesus, ²  praising ³  God. When ⁴  all the people saw it, they too ⁵  gave praise to God.

He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. He ¹  gave them to his ²  disciples to serve the people, and he divided the two fish among them all.

So ¹  he answered them, ²  “Go tell ³  John what you have seen and heard: ⁴  The blind see, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, the ⁵  deaf hear, the dead are raised, the poor have good news proclaimed to them.

Then ¹  he took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven he gave thanks ²  and broke them. He gave them to the disciples to set before the crowd.

And when Jesus came to that place, he looked up ¹  and said to him, “Zacchaeus, come down quickly, ²  because I must ³  stay at your house today.” ⁴ 

He replied, ¹  “The man called Jesus made mud, ²  smeared it ³  on my eyes and told me, ⁴  ‘Go to Siloam and wash.’ So I went and washed, and was able to see.” ⁵
