The last enemy to be eliminated is death.
Love never ends. But if there are prophecies, they will be set aside; if there are tongues, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be set aside.
Do we then nullify 1 the law through faith? Absolutely not! Instead 2 we uphold the law.
For if they become heirs by the law, faith is empty and the promise is nullified. 1
but when what is perfect 1 comes, the partial will be set aside.
For if what was made ineffective 1 came with 2 glory, how much more has what remains 3 come in glory!
You who are trying to be declared righteous 1 by the law have been alienated 2 from Christ; you have fallen away from grace!
What then? If some did not believe, does their unbelief nullify the faithfulness of God?

and then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord 1 will destroy by the breath of his mouth and wipe out by the manifestation of his arrival.
but now made visible through the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus. He 1 has broken the power of death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel!
