For this reason a woman should have a symbol of authority ¹  on her head, because of the angels. ² 

Now if he has defrauded you of anything or owes you anything, charge what he owes ¹  to me.

and for this reason he is obligated to make sin offerings for himself as well as for the people.

The one who says he resides ¹  in God ²  ought himself to walk ³  just as Jesus ⁴  walked.

And, ‘Whoever swears by the altar is bound by nothing. ¹  But if anyone swears by the gift on it he is bound by the oath.’

The Jewish leaders ¹  replied, ²  “We have a law, ³  and according to our law he ought to die, because he claimed to be the Son of God!” ⁴ 

Or is he not surely speaking for our benefit? It was written for us, because the one plowing and threshing ought to work in hope of enjoying the harvest.

For a man should not have his head covered, since he is the image and glory of God. But the woman is the glory of the man.

“Woe to you, blind guides, who say, ‘Whoever swears by the temple is bound by nothing. ¹  But whoever swears by the gold of the temple is bound by the oath.’

If anyone thinks he is acting inappropriately toward his virgin, ¹  if she is past the bloom of youth ²  and it seems necessary, he should do what he wishes; he does not sin. Let them marry.

Look, for the third time I am ready to come to you, and I will not be a burden to you, because I do not want your possessions, but you. For children should not have ¹  to save up for their parents, but parents for their children.
