So ¹  Peter ²  stayed many days in Joppa with a man named ³  Simon, a tanner. ⁴ 

When they asked him to stay longer, he would not consent, ¹ 

So when the Samaritans came to him, they began asking ¹  him to stay with them. ²  He stayed there two days,

but they urged him, ¹  “Stay with us, because it is getting toward evening and the day is almost done.” So ²  he went in to stay with them.

And when Jesus came to that place, he looked up ¹  and said to him, “Zacchaeus, come down quickly, ²  because I must ³  stay at your house today.” ⁴ 

five have fallen; one is, ¹  and the other has not yet come, but whenever he does come, he must remain for only a brief time.
