concerning sin, because ¹  they do not believe in me; ² 

Now all discipline seems painful at the time, not joyful. ¹  But later it produces the fruit of peace and righteousness ²  for those trained by it.

Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.

He ¹  answered, “Elijah does indeed come first and will restore all things.

He ¹  will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.

And in this way, ¹  with many other exhortations, John ²  proclaimed good news to the people.

Then if ¹  it bears fruit next year, ²  very well, ³  but if ⁴  not, you can cut it down.’”

Now those who had been forced to scatter went around proclaiming the good news of the word.

So the churches were being strengthened in the faith and were increasing in number every day. ¹ 

However, ¹  Paul ²  shook ³  the creature off into the fire and suffered no harm.

Some were convinced ¹  by what he said, ²  but others refused ³  to believe.

eternal life to those who by perseverance in good works seek glory and honor and immortality,

Actually, there are many advantages. ¹  First of all, ²  the Jews ³  were entrusted with the oracles of God. ⁴ 

So then, the law is holy, and the commandment is holy, righteous, and good.

In regard to the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but in regard to election they are dearly loved for the sake of the fathers.

One person believes in eating everything, but the weak person eats only vegetables.

but we preach about a crucified Christ, ¹  a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles.

The one who is spiritual discerns ¹  all things, yet he himself is understood ²  by no one.

For you are certainly giving thanks well, but the other person is not strengthened.

because he not only accepted our request, but since he was very eager, ¹  he is coming ²  to you of his own accord. ³
