Most excellent Felix, ¹  we acknowledge this everywhere and in every way ²  with all gratitude. ³ 

You will be enriched in every way so that you may be generous on every occasion, ¹  which is producing through us thanksgiving to God,

Neither should there be vulgar speech, foolish talk, or coarse jesting – all of which are out of character – but rather thanksgiving.

Be devoted to prayer, keeping alert in it with thanksgiving.

First of all, then, I urge that requests, ¹  prayers, intercessions, and thanks be offered on behalf of all people, ² 

For every creation of God is good and no food ¹  is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving.

rooted ¹  and built up in him and firm ²  in your ³  faith just as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

For all these things are for your sake, so that the grace that is including ¹  more and more people may cause thanksgiving to increase ²  to the glory of God.

because the service of this ministry is not only providing for ¹  the needs of the saints but is also overflowing with many thanks to God.

Do not be anxious about anything. Instead, in every situation, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, tell your requests to God.

For how can we thank God enough for you, ¹  for all the joy we feel ²  because of you before our God?

They will prohibit marriage and require abstinence from foods that God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.

And whenever the living creatures give glory, honor, ¹  and thanks to the one who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever,

Otherwise, if you are praising God with your spirit, how can someone without the gift ¹  say “Amen” to your thanksgiving, since he does not know what you are saying?

saying, “Amen! Praise and glory, and wisdom and thanksgiving, and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!”
