Your fathers did the same thing when I sent them from Kadesh Barnea to see the land.

Now it is ordinarily an eleven-day journey ¹  from Horeb ²  to Kadesh Barnea ³  by way of Mount Seir. ⁴

The men of Judah approached Joshua in Gilgal, and Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite said to him, “You know what the Lord said about you and me to Moses, the man of God, at Kadesh Barnea. ¹ 

Therefore, you remained at Kadesh for a long time – indeed, for the full time. ¹ 

The Lord’s shout shakes ¹  the wilderness, the Lord shakes the wilderness of Kadesh. ² 

That is why the well was called ¹  Beer Lahai Roi. ²  (It is located ³  between Kadesh and Bered.)

So the entire company of Israelites ¹  traveled from Kadesh and came to Mount Hor. ² 

They traveled from Ezion-geber and camped in the wilderness of Zin, which is Kadesh.

They traveled from Kadesh and camped in Mount Hor at the edge of the land of Edom.

Abraham journeyed from there to the Negev ¹  region and settled between Kadesh and Shur. While he lived as a temporary resident ²  in Gerar,

Then they attacked En Mishpat (that is, Kadesh) again, ¹  and they conquered all the territory of the Amalekites, as well as the Amorites who were living in Hazazon Tamar.
