They traveled from Kadesh and camped in Mount Hor at the edge of the land of Edom.

They traveled from Oboth and camped in Iye-abarim, on the border of Moab.

They traveled from Dibon-gad and camped in Almon-diblathaim.

Remember what the Amalekites ¹  did to you on your way from Egypt,

Have you gone to the springs that fill the sea, ¹  or walked about in the recesses of the deep?

and they went on to another village.

“Get dressed for service ¹  and keep your lamps burning; ² 

For they have gone forth ¹  on behalf of “The Name,” ²  accepting nothing from the pagans. ³ 

Then he sent his brothers on their way and they left. He said to them, “As you travel don’t be overcome with fear.” ¹ 

After they journeyed ¹  from Rephidim, they came to the Desert of Sinai, and they camped in the desert; Israel camped there in front of the mountain. ² 

When it is time for the camp to journey, ¹  Aaron and his sons must come and take down the screening curtain and cover the ark of the testimony with it.

From there they moved on and camped on the other side of the Arnon, in the wilderness that extends from the regions ¹  of the Amorites, for Arnon is the border of Moab, between Moab and the Amorites.

They traveled from Marah and came to Elim; in Elim there are twelve fountains of water and seventy palm trees, so they camped there.

So the two of them ¹  journeyed together until they arrived in Bethlehem. ² When they entered ³  Bethlehem, ⁴  the whole village was excited about their arrival. ⁵  The women of the village said, ⁶  “Can this be Naomi?” ⁷ 

The Lord sent you on a campaign ¹  saying, ‘Go and exterminate those sinful Amalekites! Fight against them until you ²  have destroyed them.’

Nevertheless I must ¹  go on my way today and tomorrow and the next day, because it is impossible ²  that a prophet should be killed ³  outside Jerusalem.’ ⁴ 

Then ¹  he began to tell the people this parable: “A man ²  planted a vineyard, ³  leased it to tenant farmers, ⁴  and went on a journey for a long time.

He answered, ‘The Lord, before whom I have walked, ¹  will send his angel with you. He will make your journey a success and you will find a wife for my son from among my relatives, from my father’s family.

But the servant said to him, “Look, there is a man of God in this town. He is highly respected. Everything that he says really happens. ¹  Now let’s go there. Perhaps he will tell us where we should go from here.” ² 

The four victorious kings ¹  took all the possessions and food of Sodom and Gomorrah and left.
