They ¹  devour widows’ property, ²  and as a show make long prayers. These men will receive a more severe punishment.”

After this ¹  Jesus revealed himself again to the disciples by the Sea of Tiberias. ²  Now this is how he did so. ³ 

but ¹  God raised him up on the third day and caused him to be seen, ² 

The priest will then examine it, ¹  and if ²  it appears to be deeper than the skin ³  and its hair has turned white, then the priest is to pronounce the person unclean. ⁴  It is a diseased infection that has broken out in the boil. ⁵ 

But if the priest examines the scall infection and it does not appear to be deeper than the skin, ¹  and there is no black hair in it, then the priest is to quarantine the person with the scall infection for seven days. ² 

To the same apostles ¹  also, after his suffering, ²  he presented himself alive with many convincing proofs. He was seen by them over a forty-day period ³  and spoke about matters concerning the kingdom of God.

You are to observe the Feast of Unleavened Bread; seven days ¹  you must eat bread made without yeast, as I commanded you, at the appointed time of the month of Abib, for at that time ²  you came out of Egypt. No one may appear before ³  me empty-handed.

and the Lord said to Moses: “Tell Aaron your brother that he must not enter at any time into the holy place inside the veil-canopy ¹  in front of the atonement plate ²  that is on the ark so that he may not die, for I will appear in the cloud over the atonement plate.

After they had gone, an ¹  angel of the Lord ²  appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, “Get up, take the child and his mother and flee to Egypt, and stay there until I tell you, for Herod ³  is going to look for the child to kill him.”

In those days John the Baptist came into the wilderness ¹  of Judea proclaiming,

And if the righteous are barely saved, what will become of ¹  the ungodly and sinners? ² 

God said, ¹  “Let there be ²  light.” ³  And there was light!

If, however, the scab is spreading further ¹  on the skin after he has shown himself to the priest for his purification, then he must show himself to the priest a second time.

For, look, darkness covers the earth and deep darkness covers ¹  the nations, but the Lord shines on you; his splendor ²  appears over you.

He answered, “But I see four men, untied and walking around in the midst of the fire! No harm has come to them! And the appearance of the fourth is like that of a god!” ¹ 

An ¹  angel of the Lord ²  appeared to ³  them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were absolutely terrified. ⁴ 

He humbled himself, by becoming obedient to the point of death – even death on a cross!

Stay away from every form of evil.

and then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord ¹  will destroy by the breath of his mouth and wipe out by the manifestation of his arrival.
