Foreigners are consuming what his strenuous labor produced, ¹  but he does not recognize it! His head is filled with gray hair, but he does not realize it!

Fast runners will find no place to hide; ¹  strong men will have no strength left; ²  warriors will not be able to save their lives.

But we have this treasure in clay jars, so that the extraordinary power ¹  belongs to God and does not come from us.

who will transform these humble bodies of ours ¹  into the likeness of his glorious body by means of that power by which he is able to subject all things to himself.

and make straight paths for your feet, ¹  so that what is lame may not be put out of joint but be healed.
