Therefore he told me, “These signify the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by strength and not by power, but by my Spirit,’ ¹  says the Lord who rules over all.”

“Who then is the faithful and wise slave, ¹  whom the master has put in charge of his household, to give the other slaves ²  their food at the proper time?

The Lord replied, ¹  “Who then is the faithful and wise manager, ²  whom the master puts in charge of his household servants, ³  to give them their allowance of food at the proper time?

Now may the God of endurance and comfort give you unity with one another ¹  in accordance with Christ Jesus,

Clothe yourselves with the full armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the schemes ¹  of the devil.

and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, keep warm and eat well,” but you do not give them what the body needs, ¹  what good is it?

For this very reason, ¹  make every effort ²  to add to your faith excellence, ³  to excellence, knowledge;
