His mother used to make him a small robe and bring it up to him at regular intervals when she would go up with her husband to make the annual sacrifice.

He also made three hundred small shields of hammered gold; three minas ¹  of gold were used for each of these shields. The king placed them in the Palace of the Lebanon Forest. ²

So when the crowd realized that neither Jesus nor his disciples were there, they got into the boats ¹  and came to Capernaum ²  looking for Jesus.

Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know that a little yeast ¹  affects ²  the whole batch of dough?

For our momentary, light suffering ¹  is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison

My point is this: The person who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the person who sows generously ¹  will also reap generously.

“And there will be no need at all ¹  for each one to teach his countryman or each one to teach his brother saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ since they will all know me, from the least to the greatest. ² 

He held ¹  in his hand a little scroll that was open, and he put his right foot on the sea and his left on the land.

Pairs ¹  of clean animals, of unclean animals, of birds, and of everything that creeps along the ground,

Then ¹  seven heads of grain, withered and thin and burned with the east wind, were sprouting up after them.
