Why harden your hearts like the Egyptians and Pharaoh did? ¹  When God ²  treated them harshly, didn’t the Egyptians send the Israelites on their way? ³ 

Then the men of Israel left Mizpah and chased the Philistines, striking them down all the way to an area below Beth Car.

His armor bearer said to him, “Do everything that is on your mind. ¹  Do as you’re inclined. I’m with you all the way!” ²

That day the people stole away to go to the city the way people who are embarrassed steal away in fleeing from battle.

Now when Barzillai the Gileadite had come down from Rogelim, he crossed the Jordan with the king so he could send him on his way from there. ¹ 

I will cross the Jordan with the king and go a short distance. ¹  Why should the king reward me in this way?

In the same way he made doorposts of olive wood for the entrance to the main hall, only with four-sided pillars. ¹

On the top of each pillar, right above the bulge beside the latticework, there were two hundred pomegranate-shaped ornaments arranged in rows all the way around. ¹ 

He made the ten stands in this way. All of them were cast in one mold and were identical in measurements and shape.
