The whole time he has the infection ¹  he will be continually unclean. He must live in isolation, and his place of residence must be outside the camp.

and sprinkle it seven times on the one being cleansed ¹  from the disease, pronounce him clean, ²  and send the live bird away over the open countryside. ³ 

“When he has finished purifying the holy place, ¹  the Meeting Tent, and the altar, he is to present the live goat.

So you must keep ¹  my statutes and my regulations; anyone who does so will live by keeping them. ²  I am the Lord.

You must not do any work. This is a perpetual statute throughout your generations ¹  in all the places where you live.

You must obey my statutes and my regulations; you must be sure to keep them ¹  so that you may live securely in the land. ² 

“‘The land will give its fruit and you may eat until you are satisfied, ¹  and you may live securely in the land.

“‘If your brother ¹  becomes impoverished and is indebted to you, ²  you must support ³  him; he must live ⁴  with you like a foreign resident. ⁵ 

Do not take interest or profit from him, ¹  but you must fear your God and your brother must live ²  with you.

You must expel both men and women; you must put them outside the camp, so that ¹  they will not defile their camps, among which I live.”

and see ¹  what the land is like, ²  and whether the people who live in it are strong or weak, few or many,

and whether the land they live in is good or bad, and whether the cities they inhabit are like camps or fortified cities,

Say to them, ‘As I live, ¹  says ²  the Lord, I will surely do to you just what you have spoken in my hearing. ³ 

“Speak to the Israelites and tell them, ‘When you enter the land where you are to live, ¹  which I am giving you, ² 

The Lord said to Moses, “Make a poisonous snake and set it on a pole. When anyone who is bitten looks ¹  at it, he will live.”

You must dispossess the inhabitants of the land and live in it, for I have given you the land to possess it.

Thus they will have towns in which to live, and their grazing lands will be for their cattle, for their possessions, and for all their animals.

Are they not across the Jordan River, ¹  toward the west, in the land of the Canaanites who live in the Arabah opposite Gilgal ²  near the oak ³  of Moreh?

Suppose you should hear in one of your cities, which the Lord your God is giving you as a place to live, that

You must pursue justice alone ¹  so that you may live and inherit the land the Lord your God is giving you.
