The seed is still in the storehouse, isn’t it? And the vine, fig tree, pomegranate, and olive tree have not produced. Nevertheless, from today on I will bless you.’”

But ¹  these are the ones sown on good soil: They hear the word and receive it and bear fruit, one thirty times as much, one sixty, and one a hundred.”

But as for the seed that landed on good soil, these are the ones who, after hearing ¹  the word, cling to it ²  with an honest and good ³  heart, and bear fruit with steadfast endurance. ⁴ 

I tell you the solemn truth, ¹  unless a kernel of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains by itself alone. ²  But if it dies, it produces ³  much grain. ⁴ 

So ¹  the angel swung his sickle over the earth and gathered the grapes from the vineyard ²  of the earth and tossed them into the great ³  winepress of the wrath of God.

You are to celebrate the festival seven days before the Lord your God in the place he ¹  chooses, for he ²  will bless you in all your productivity and in whatever you do; ³  so you will indeed rejoice!

I do not want you to be unaware, ¹  brothers and sisters, ²  that I often intended to come to you (and was prevented until now), so that I may have some fruit even among you, just as I already have among the rest of the Gentiles. ³ 

It will produce thorns and thistles for you, but you will eat the grain ¹  of the field.

May God give you the dew of the sky ¹  and the richness ²  of the earth, and plenty of grain and new wine.

And your raised offering will be credited ¹  to you as though it were grain from the threshing floor or as new wine ²  from the winepress.

You must be certain to tithe ¹  all the produce of your seed that comes from the field year after year.

They ate some of the produce of the land the day after the Passover, including unleavened bread and roasted grain. ¹

In the third month they began piling their contributions in heaps ¹  and finished in the seventh month.

You make me happier ¹  than those who have abundant grain and wine. ² 

You crown the year with your good blessings, ¹  and you leave abundance in your wake. ² 

for you live among them. ¹  You sustain the oppressed with your good blessings, O God.

Yes, the Lord will bestow his good blessings, ¹  and our land will yield ²  its crops.

He handed the territory of nations over to them, and they took possession of what other peoples had produced, ¹ 

May they be like the grass on the rooftops which withers before one can even pull it up, ¹
