צ (Tsade) For no good reason ¹  my enemies hunted me down ²  like a bird.

Then the king was delighted and gave an order to haul Daniel up from the den. So Daniel was hauled up out of the den. He had no injury of any kind, because he had trusted in his God.

For the Lord who rules over all says to me that for his own glory ¹  he has sent me to the nations that plundered you – for anyone who touches you touches the pupil ²  of his ³  eye.

So Abimelech commanded all the people, “Whoever touches ¹  this man or his wife will surely be put to death.” ²
