He must manage his own household well and keep his children in control without losing his dignity. ¹ 

Deacons must be husbands of one wife ¹  and good managers of their children and their own households.

In this way ¹  they will train ²  the younger women to love their husbands, to love their children,

Like obedient children, do not comply with ¹  the evil urges you used to follow in your ignorance, ² 

I am writing to you, ¹  little children, that ²  your sins have been forgiven because of his ³  name.

You will live ¹  in the land of Goshen, and you will be near me – you, your children, your grandchildren, your flocks, your herds, and everything you have.

Joseph also provided food for his father, his brothers, and all his father’s household, according to the number of their little children.

Any children that you father ¹  after them will be yours; they will be listed ²  under the names of their brothers in their inheritance. ³
