But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with endurance. ¹ 

And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Therefore, since we have such a hope, we behave with great boldness, ¹ 

where he is now waiting ¹  until his enemies are made a footstool for his feet. ² 

For he was looking forward to the city with firm foundations, ¹  whose architect and builder is God.

Speak and act as those who will be judged by a law that gives freedom. ¹

now I ask that when I am present I may not have to be bold with the confidence that (I expect) I will dare to use against some who consider us to be behaving ¹  according to human standards. ²

This is the allotment of Aaron and the allotment of his sons from the Lord’s gifts on the day Moses ¹  presented them to serve as priests ²  to the Lord.

So Moses made a bronze snake and put it on a pole, so that if a snake had bitten someone, when he looked at the bronze snake he lived. ¹

Peninnah ¹  would behave this way year after year. Whenever Hannah ²  went up to the Lord’s house, Peninnah ³  would upset her so that she would weep and refuse to eat.
