They traveled from Oboth and camped in Iye-abarim, on the border of Moab.

The Israelites followed in the sinful ways of Jeroboam son of Nebat and did not repudiate ¹  them.

For her house ¹  sinks ²  down to death, and her paths lead ³  to the place of the departed spirits. ⁴ 

But these people have stubborn and rebellious hearts. They have turned aside and gone their own way. ¹

So they traveled from the mountain of the Lord three days’ journey; ¹  and the ark of the covenant of the Lord was traveling before them during the three days’ journey, to find a resting place for them.

They departed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the day ¹  after the Passover the Israelites went out defiantly ²  in plain sight ³  of all the Egyptians.
