for she kept saying, ¹  “If only I touch his clothes, I will be healed.” ² 

“There was a rich man who dressed in purple ¹  and fine linen and who feasted sumptuously ²  every day.

Then they took Jesus’ body and wrapped it, with the aromatic spices, ¹  in strips of linen cloth ²  according to Jewish burial customs. ³ 

Your riches have rotted and your clothing has become moth-eaten.

The priest must then examine the scall on the seventh day, and if ¹  the scall has not spread on the skin and it does not appear to be deeper than the skin, ²  then the priest is to pronounce him clean. ³  So he is to wash his clothes and be clean.
