Please recall the word you commanded your servant Moses: ‘If you act unfaithfully, I will scatter you among the nations. ¹ 

Remember, O my God, Tobiah and Sanballat in light of these actions of theirs – also Noadiah the prophetess and the other prophets who were trying to scare me!

The womb ¹  forgets him, the worm feasts on him, no longer will he be remembered. Like a tree, wickedness will be broken down.

Remember how ¹  the enemy hurls insults, O Lord, ²  and how a foolish nation blasphemes your name!

Rise up, O God! Defend your honor! ¹  Remember how fools insult you all day long! ² 

He remains loyal and faithful to the family of Israel. ¹  All the ends of the earth see our God deliver us. ² 

“Take the harp, go through the city, forgotten prostitute! Play it well, play lots of songs, so you’ll be noticed!” ¹ 

Remember these things, O Jacob, O Israel, for you are my servant. I formed you to be my servant; O Israel, I will not forget you! ¹ 

Remember what I accomplished in antiquity! ¹  Truly I am God, I have no peer; ²  I am God, and there is none like me,

And with all your abominable practices and prostitution you did not remember the days of your youth when you were naked and bare, kicking around in your blood.

Then you will remember your evil behavior ¹  and your deeds which were not good; you will loathe yourselves on account of your sins and your abominable deeds.

So then, if you bring your gift to the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you,

Then Peter remembered what Jesus had said: “Before the rooster crows, you will deny me three times.” And he went outside and wept bitterly. ¹ 

Though you have eyes, don’t you see? And though you have ears, can’t you hear? ¹  Don’t you remember?

So after he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this, and they believed the scripture ¹  and the saying ²  that Jesus had spoken.

(His disciples did not understand these things when they first happened, ¹  but when Jesus was glorified, ²  then they remembered that these things were written about him and that these things had happened ³  to him.) ⁴ 

Therefore be alert, ¹  remembering that night and day for three years I did not stop warning ²  each one of you with tears.

I always thank my God ¹  as I remember you in my prayers, ² 

Remember your leaders, who spoke God’s message to you; reflect on the outcome of their lives and imitate their faith.

When these things had been accomplished ¹  and the rage of King Ahasuerus had diminished, he remembered ²  Vashti and what she had done and what had been decided ³  against her.
