In anger, in fury, and in wrath I myself will fight against you with my mighty power and great strength! ¹ 

The noise of battle can be heard in the land of Babylonia. ¹  There is the sound of great destruction.

Cries of anguish will come from Babylon, the sound of great destruction from the land of the Babylonians.

By your great skill ¹  in trade you have increased your wealth, and your heart is proud because of your wealth.

On the twenty-fourth day of the first month ¹  I was beside the great river, the Tigris. ² 

I spelled out my law for him in great detail, but they regard it as something totally unknown ¹  to them!

Look, I will send you Elijah ¹  the prophet before the great and terrible day of the Lord arrives.

God made two great lights ¹  – the greater light to rule over the day and the lesser light to rule over the night. He made the stars also. ² 

That day the Lord made a covenant ¹  with Abram: “To your descendants I give ²  this land, from the river of Egypt ³  to the great river, the Euphrates River –

After all, Abraham ¹  will surely become ²  a great and powerful nation, and all the nations on the earth will pronounce blessings on one another ³  using his name.

because we are about to destroy ¹  it. The outcry against this place ²  is so great before the Lord that he ³  has sent us to destroy it.”

But I will also make the son of the slave wife into a great nation, for he is your descendant too.”

Get up! Help the boy up and hold him by the hand, for I will make him into a great nation.”

He had ¹  so many sheep ²  and cattle ³  and such a great household of servants that the Philistines became jealous ⁴  of him.

So Jacob worked for seven years to acquire Rachel. ¹  But they seemed like only a few days to him ²  because his love for her was so great. ³ 

God sent me ¹  ahead of you to preserve you ²  on the earth and to save your lives ³  by a great deliverance.

There will be a great cry throughout the whole land of Egypt, such as there has never been, ¹  nor ever will be again. ² 

So now, leave me alone ¹  so that my anger can burn against them and I can destroy them, and I will make from you a great nation.”

Moses said to Aaron, “What did this people do to you, that you have brought on them so great a sin?”

Please forgive ¹  the iniquity of this people according to your great loyal love, ²  just as you have forgiven this people from Egypt even until now.”
