When he was alone, those around him with the twelve asked him about the parables.

Then ¹  Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went to the chief priests to betray Jesus into their hands. ² 

He said to them, “It is one of the twelve, one who dips his hand ¹  with me into the bowl. ² 

and when they returned from the tomb they told all these things to the eleven ¹  and to all the rest.

And they called them in and ordered ¹  them not to speak or teach at all in the name ²  of Jesus.

Philip went down to the main city of Samaria ¹  and began proclaiming ²  the Christ ³  to them.

So he was staying with them, associating openly with them ¹  in Jerusalem, speaking out boldly in the name of the Lord.

So after they shook ¹  the dust off their feet ²  in protest against them, they went to Iconium. ³ 

One ¹  should think about us this way – as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God.

who is faithful to the one who appointed him, as Moses was also in God’s ¹  house. ² 

To the same apostles ¹  also, after his suffering, ²  he presented himself alive with many convincing proofs. He was seen by them over a forty-day period ³  and spoke about matters concerning the kingdom of God.

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me has not been in vain. In fact, I worked harder than all of them – yet not I, but the grace of God with me.

While he was still speaking, Judas, ¹  one of the twelve, arrived. With him was a large crowd armed with swords and clubs, sent by the chief priests and elders of the people.

Jesus ¹  called the twelve and began to send them out two by two. He gave them authority over the unclean spirits. ² 

After he sat down, he called the twelve and said to them, “If anyone wants to be first, he must be last of all and servant of all.”

Then ¹  Jesus ²  entered Jerusalem and went to the temple. And after looking around at everything, he went out to Bethany with the twelve since it was already late.

Right away, while Jesus ¹  was still speaking, Judas, one of the twelve, arrived. ²  With him came a crowd armed with swords and clubs, sent by the chief priests and experts in the law ³  and elders.

Some time ¹  afterward ²  he went on through towns ³  and villages, preaching and proclaiming the good news ⁴  of the kingdom of God. ⁵  The ⁶  twelve were with him,

Then ¹  Jesus ²  took the twelve aside and said to them, “Look, we are going up to Jerusalem, ³  and everything that is written about the Son of Man by the prophets will be accomplished. ⁴ 

While he was still speaking, suddenly a crowd appeared, ¹  and the man named Judas, one of the twelve, was leading them. He walked up ²  to Jesus to kiss him. ³
