And the rest of the Israelites, with the priests and the Levites, were in all the cities of Judah, each on his own property.

And its young ones devour the blood, and where the dead carcasses ¹  are, there it is.”

Praise the Lord! I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the godly and the congregation.

He does whatever he pleases in heaven and on earth, in the seas and all the ocean depths.

Let the godly rejoice because of their vindication! ¹  Let them shout for joy upon their beds! ² 

When one looks out over the land, he sees ¹  distress and darkness, gloom ²  and anxiety, darkness and people forced from the land. ³ 

Turn to me so you can be delivered, ¹  all you who live in the earth’s remote regions! For I am God, and I have no peer.

Thus I will strengthen them by my power, ¹  and they will walk about ²  in my name,” says the Lord.

For where two or three are assembled in my name, I am there among them.”

A large crowd was following him because they were observing the miraculous signs he was performing on the sick.

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is present, ¹  there is freedom.

in whom we have boldness and confident access ¹  to God ²  because of ³  Christ’s ⁴  faithfulness. ⁵ 

I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content in any circumstance.

I am able to do all things ¹  through the one ²  who strengthens me.

Nobody will be able to resist you; the Lord your God will spread the fear and terror of you over the whole land on which you walk, just as he promised you.

I brought them to the land which I swore ¹  to give them, but whenever they saw any high hill or leafy tree, they offered their sacrifices there and presented the offerings that provoke me to anger. They offered their soothing aroma there and poured out their drink offerings.
