Gad went to David and told him, “This is what the Lord says: ‘Pick one of these:

And that God would be willing ¹  to crush me, that he would let loose ²  his hand and ³  kill me. ⁴ 

“Will the one who contends ¹  with the Almighty correct him? ²  Let the person who accuses God give him an answer!”

Then a powerful king ¹  will arise, exercising great authority and doing as he pleases.

Peter said to him, “Even if they all fall away, I will not!”

For I have come down from heaven not to do my own will but the will of the one who sent me.

It is one and the same Spirit, distributing as he decides to each person, who produces all these things.

Some, to be sure, are preaching Christ from envy and rivalry, but others from goodwill.

For where there is a will, the death of the one who made it must be proven. ¹ 

Everyone ¹  whose heart stirred him to action ²  and everyone whose spirit was willing ³  came and brought the offering for the Lord for the work of the tent of meeting, for all its service, and for the holy garments. ⁴ 

Jesus answered, “Will you lay down your life for me? ¹  I tell you the solemn truth, ²  the rooster will not crow until you have denied me three times!

King Ahab of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, “Will you go with me to attack Ramoth Gilead?” Jehoshaphat replied to the king of Israel, “I will support you; my army is at your disposal and will support you in battle.” ¹ 

When the king returned from the palace garden to the banquet of wine, Haman was throwing himself down ¹  on the couch where Esther was lying. ²  The king exclaimed, “Will he also attempt to rape the queen while I am still in the building!” As these words left the king’s mouth, they covered Haman’s face.

Will you keep to the old path ¹  that evil men have walked –

They willfully challenged God ¹  by asking for food to satisfy their appetite.

He ¹  will reward ²  each one according to his works: ³ 

equip you with every good thing to do his will, working in us ¹  what is pleasing before him through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever. ²  Amen.

Then he said to them, “If you agree ¹  that I may bury my dead, ²  then hear me out. ³  Ask ⁴  Ephron the son of Zohar

He replied, “I’ll send you a young goat from the flock.” She asked, “Will you give me a pledge until you send it?” ¹ 

O my soul, do not come into their council, do not be united to their assembly, my heart, ¹  for in their anger they have killed men, and for pleasure they have hamstrung oxen.
