They traveled from Kehelathah and camped at Mount Shepher.

Then Israel ¹  went through the desert and bypassed the land of Edom and the land of Moab. They traveled east of the land of Moab and camped on the other side of the Arnon River; ²  they did not go through Moabite territory (the Arnon was Moab’s border).

From there he traveled to Mount Carmel and then back to Samaria. ¹ 

whose paths ¹  are morally crooked, ²  and who are devious ³  in their ways;

And the news of this spread throughout that region. ¹

“During those days the Israelites traveled from Beeroth Bene-Yaaqan ¹  to Moserah. ²  There Aaron died and was buried, and his son Eleazar became priest in his place.
