So ¹  the slave came back and reported this to his master. Then the master of the household was furious ²  and said to his slave, ‘Go out quickly ³  to the streets and alleys of the city, ⁴  and bring in the poor, ⁵  the crippled, ⁶  the blind, and the lame.’

Then they took ¹  some of the produce of the land and carried it back down to us. They also brought a report to us, saying, “The land that the Lord our God is about to give us is good.”

The vision ¹  that Obadiah ²  saw. ³  The Lord God ⁴  says this concerning ⁵  Edom: ⁶ We have heard a report from the Lord. An envoy was sent among the nations, saying, ⁷  “Arise! Let us make war against Edom!” ⁸ 

Then a messenger came to David and reported, “The men of Israel are loyal to Absalom!” ¹ 

When one ¹  of the men saw this, he reported it to Joab saying, “I saw Absalom hanging in an oak tree.

Then the king said to Amasa, “Call the men of Judah together for me in three days, ¹  and you be present here with them too.”

When Mordecai learned of the conspiracy, ¹  he informed Queen Esther, ²  and Esther told the king in Mordecai’s behalf. ³ 

Can you send out lightning bolts, and they go? Will they say to you, ‘Here we are’?

A bright look ¹  brings joy to the heart, and good news gives health to the body. ² 

Then John’s ¹  disciples came and took the body and buried it and went and told Jesus.

Now ¹  after some days, when he returned to Capernaum, ²  the news spread ³  that he was at home.

Those who had seen what had happened to the demon-possessed man reported it, and they also told about the pigs.

When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, ¹ 

She went out and told those who were with him, while they were mourning and weeping.

like the accounts ¹  passed on ²  to us by those who were eyewitnesses and servants of the word ³  from the beginning. ⁴ 

When ¹  the herdsmen saw what had happened, they ran off and spread the news ²  in the town ³  and countryside.

Then ¹  the slave said, ‘Sir, what you instructed has been done, and there is still room.’ ² 

and when they returned from the tomb they told all these things to the eleven ¹  and to all the rest.

A report ¹  about them came to the attention ²  of the church in Jerusalem, ³  and they sent Barnabas ⁴  to Antioch. ⁵ 

Therefore we are sending ¹  Judas and Silas ²  who will tell you these things themselves in person. ³
