There are many dwelling places ¹  in my Father’s house. ²  Otherwise, I would have told you, because ³  I am going away to make ready ⁴  a place for you. ⁵ 

At the same time also, prepare a place for me to stay, for I hope that through your prayers I will be given back to you.

So when he came into the world, he said, “Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me.

Every day one ox, six select sheep, and some birds were prepared for me, and every ten days all kinds of wine in abundance. Despite all this I did not require the food allotted to the governor, for the work was demanding on this people.

Then she handed ¹  the tasty food and the bread she had made to her son Jacob.

Uzziah supplied shields, spears, helmets, breastplates, bows, and slingstones for the entire army.

Hezekiah and all the people were happy about what God had done ¹  for them, ²  for it had been done quickly. ³ 

There I will make David strong; ¹  I have determined that my chosen king’s dynasty will continue. ² 

He covers ¹  the sky with clouds, provides the earth with rain, and causes grass to grow on the hillsides. ² 

So with these things prepared like this, the priests enter continually into the outer tent ¹  as they perform their duties.

“When a traveler arrived at the rich man’s home, ¹  he did not want to use one of his own sheep or cattle to feed ²  the traveler who had come to visit him. ³  Instead, he took the poor man’s lamb and cooked ⁴  it for the man who had come to visit him.”

Then Abraham ran to the herd and chose a fine, tender calf, and gave it to a servant, ¹  who quickly prepared it. ² 

Then prepare for me some tasty food, the kind I love, and bring it to me. Then ¹  I will eat it so that I may bless you ²  before I die.”

Go to the flock and get me two of the best young goats. I’ll prepare ¹  them in a tasty way for your father, just the way he loves them.

Every grain offering which is baked in the oven or ¹  made in the pan ²  or on the griddle belongs to the priest who presented it.

You must also prepare one-fourth of a hin of wine for a drink offering ¹  with the burnt offering or the sacrifice for each lamb. ² 

Or for a ram, you must prepare as a grain offering two-tenths of an ephah of finely ground flour mixed with one-third of a hin of olive oil,

So all the preparations for the Lord’s service were made that day, as the Passover was observed and the burnt sacrifices were offered on the altar of the Lord, as prescribed by King Josiah.

The king replied, “Find Haman quickly so that we can do as Esther requests.” So the king and Haman went to the banquet that Esther had prepared.

Arrange the table, lay out ¹  the carpet, eat and drink! ²  Get up, you officers, smear oil on the shields! ³
