This is the plan I have devised for the whole earth; my hand is ready to strike all the nations.” ¹ 

The whole Babylonian army that came with the captain of the royal guard tore down the walls that surrounded Jerusalem.

This is what the sovereign Lord says: While the whole earth rejoices, I will turn you into a desolation.

For I delight in faithfulness, not simply in sacrifice; I delight ¹  in acknowledging God, not simply in whole burnt offerings. ²

For the one who obeys the whole law but fails ¹  in one point has become guilty of all of it. ² 

We know that we are from God, ¹  and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.

Lot chose for himself the whole region of the Jordan and traveled ¹  toward the east. So the relatives separated from each other. ² 

So the Lord replied, “If I find in the city of Sodom fifty godly people, I will spare the whole place for their sake.”
