But those three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell into the furnace ¹  of blazing fire while still securely bound. ² 

While I was watching in my mind’s visions ¹  on my bed, a holy sentinel ²  came down from heaven.

While I was watching, that horn began to wage war against the holy ones and was defeating ¹  them,

While he was saying this to me, ¹  I was flat on ²  the ground and unable to speak.

Nineveh ¹  is taken into exile ²  and is led away; ³  her slave girls moan ⁴  like doves ⁵  while they beat ⁶  their breasts. ⁷ 

“Is it right for you to live in richly paneled houses ¹  while my temple is in ruins? ² 

But while everyone was sleeping, an enemy came and sowed weeds ¹  among the wheat and went away.

And while they were eating he said, “I tell you the truth, ¹  one of you will betray me.” ² 

telling them, “You are to say, ‘His disciples came at night and stole his body ¹  while we were asleep.’

Then ¹  they went to a place called Gethsemane, and Jesus ²  said to his disciples, “Sit here while I pray.”

Now ¹  while Peter was below in the courtyard, one of the high priest’s slave girls ²  came by.

They went out and proclaimed everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the word through the accompanying signs.]]

While the people were filled with anticipation ¹  and they all wondered ²  whether perhaps John ³  could be the Christ, ⁴ 

Now when ¹  all the people were baptized, Jesus also was baptized. And while he was praying, ²  the heavens ³  opened,

So ¹  Jesus said to them, “You cannot make the wedding guests ²  fast while the bridegroom ³  is with them, can you? ⁴ 

because a friend of mine has stopped here while on a journey, ¹  and I have nothing to set before ²  him.’

Now ¹  while some were speaking about the temple, how it was adorned ²  with beautiful stones and offerings, ³  Jesus ⁴  said,

He is not here, but has been raised! ¹  Remember how he told you, while he was still in Galilee, ² 

While they were saying these things, Jesus ¹  himself stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.” ² 

He became hungry and wanted to eat, but while they were preparing the meal, a trance came over him. ¹
