Now ¹  three days after Festus ²  arrived in the province, he went up to Jerusalem ³  from Caesarea. ⁴ 

Then after fourteen years I went up to Jerusalem ¹  again with Barnabas, taking Titus along too.

In it ¹  he went and preached to the spirits in prison, ² 

After Jesus ¹  left there, he went to the region of Tyre. ²  When he went into a house, he did not want anyone to know, but ³  he was not able to escape notice.

So ¹  he got up and went to his father. But while he was still a long way from home ²  his father saw him, and his heart went out to him; ³  he ran and hugged ⁴  his son ⁵  and kissed him.

Thus Jesus no longer went ¹  around publicly ²  among the Judeans, ³  but went away from there to the region near the wilderness, to a town called Ephraim, ⁴  and stayed there with his disciples.

When he had said these things, ¹  Jesus went out with his disciples across the Kidron Valley. ²  There was an orchard ³  there, and he and his disciples went into it.

Then he got up, took the child and his mother during ¹  the night, and went to Egypt.

When ¹  he saw the crowds, he went up the mountain. ²  After he sat down his disciples came to him.

The ¹  herdsmen ran off, went into the town, ²  and told everything that had happened to the demon-possessed men.

As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, shouting, ¹  “Have mercy ²  on us, Son of David!” ³ 

When ¹  Jesus had finished instructing his twelve disciples, he went on from there to teach and preach in their towns.

Now when Jesus learned of this, he went away from there. Great ¹  crowds ²  followed him, and he healed them all.

But while everyone was sleeping, an enemy came and sowed weeds ¹  among the wheat and went away.

When he found a pearl of great value, he went out and sold everything he had and bought it.

Then John’s ¹  disciples came and took the body and buried it and went and told Jesus.

After sending away the crowd, he got into the boat and went to the region of Magadan. ¹ 

But he refused. Instead, he went out and threw him in prison until he repaid the debt.

Now when ¹  Jesus finished these sayings, he left Galilee and went to the region of Judea beyond the Jordan River. ² 

so ¹  I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground. See, you have what is yours.’
