telling them, “You are to say, ‘His disciples came at night and stole his body ¹  while we were asleep.’

Now ¹  there were shepherds ²  nearby ³  living out in the field, keeping guard ⁴  over their flock at night.

Simon ¹  answered, ²  “Master, ³  we worked hard all night and caught nothing! But at your word ⁴  I will lower ⁵  the nets.”

But during the night an angel of the Lord ¹  opened ²  the doors of the prison, ³  led them out, ⁴  and said,

So the soldiers, in accordance with their orders, ¹  took ²  Paul and brought him to Antipatris ³  during the night.

For last night an angel of the God to whom I belong ¹  and whom I serve ²  came to me ³ 

God made two great lights ¹  – the greater light to rule over the day and the lesser light to rule over the night. He made the stars also. ²

Now on the way, at a place where they stopped for the night, ¹  the Lord met Moses and sought to kill him. ² 

They will eat the meat the same night; ¹  they will eat it roasted over the fire with bread made without yeast ²  and with bitter herbs.

He did not remove the pillar of cloud by day nor the pillar of fire by night from before the people. ¹ 

This is the way it used to be continually: The cloud would cover it by day, ¹  and there was a fiery appearance by night.

Observe the month Abib ¹  and keep the Passover to the Lord your God, for in that month ²  he ³  brought you out of Egypt by night.
