So she slept beside him ¹  until morning. She woke up while it was still dark. ²  Boaz thought, ³  “No one must know that a woman visited the threshing floor.” ⁴ 

So Samuel lay down until morning. Then he opened the doors of the Lord’s house. But Samuel was afraid to tell Eli about the vision.

So Jonathan told David, “My father Saul is trying ¹  to kill you. So be careful tomorrow morning. Find ²  a hiding place and stay in seclusion. ³ 

God will severely punish David, ¹  if I leave alive until morning even one male ²  from all those who belong to him!”

In the morning, when Nabal was sober, ¹  his wife told him about these matters. He had a stroke and was paralyzed. ²
