In the resurrection, therefore, whose wife of the seven will she be? For they all had married her.” ¹ 

He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. ¹  Go in peace, and be healed of your disease.”

He strictly ordered that no one should know about this, ¹  and told them to give her something to eat.

The woman was a Greek, of Syrophoenician origin. She ¹  asked him to cast the demon out of her daughter.

Then ¹  he said to her, “Because you said this, you may go. The demon has left your daughter.”

In the resurrection, when they rise again, ¹  whose wife will she be? For all seven had married her.” ² 

And when they heard that he was alive and had been seen by her, they did not believe.

So ¹  the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, ²  Mary, for you have found favor ³  with God!

And blessed ¹  is she who believed that ²  what was spoken to her by ³  the Lord would be fulfilled.” ⁴ 

Now the time came ¹  for Elizabeth to have her baby, ²  and she gave birth to a son.

but one thing ¹  is needed. Mary has chosen the best ²  part; it will not be taken away from her.”

and then the third married her, and in this same way all seven died, leaving no children.

A Samaritan woman ¹  came to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give me some water ²  to drink.”

Then the woman left her water jar, went off into the town and said to the people, ¹ 

Jesus stood up straight ¹  and said to her, “Woman, ²  where are they? Did no one condemn you?”

Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She ¹  turned and said to him in Aramaic, ²  “Rabboni” ³  (which means Teacher). ⁴ 

and when he had been abandoned, ¹  Pharaoh’s daughter adopted ²  him and brought him up ³  as her own son.

But because of immoralities, each man should have relations with ¹  his own wife and each woman with ²  her own husband.

For this reason a woman should have a symbol of authority ¹  on her head, because of the angels. ²
