The fool folds his hands and does no work, ¹  so he has nothing to eat but his own flesh. ² 

Better is one handful with some rest than two hands full of toil ¹  and chasing the wind.

For at that time ¹  everyone will get rid of ²  the silver and gold idols your hands sinfully made. ³ 

י (Yod) The hands of tenderhearted women ¹  cooked their own children, who became their food, ²  when my people ³  were destroyed. ⁴ 

Each had four faces; each had four wings and the form of human hands under the wings.

These are the things that defile a person; it is not eating with unwashed hands that defiles a person.” ¹ 

And they saw that some of Jesus’ disciples ate their bread with unclean hands, that is, unwashed.

The ¹  Pharisee was astonished when he saw that Jesus ²  did not first wash his hands ³  before the meal.

Then ¹  Jesus ²  led them out as far as Bethany, ³  and lifting up his hands, he blessed them.

Simon Peter said to him, “Lord, wash ¹  not only my feet, but also my hands and my head!”

Yet the Most High ¹  does not live in houses made by human hands, ²  as the prophet says,

saying, “Give me this power ¹  too, so that everyone I place my hands on may receive the Holy Spirit.”

Then, after they had fasted ¹  and ²  prayed and placed their hands ³  on them, they sent them off.

and on the third day they threw the ship’s gear ¹  overboard with their own hands.
