That night – let darkness seize ¹  it; let it not be included ²  among the days of the year; let it not enter among the number of the months! ³ 

But as for me, ¹  because of your great faithfulness I will enter your house; ²  I will bow down toward your holy temple as I worship you. ³ 

So I made a vow in my anger, ‘They will never enter into the resting place I had set aside for them.’” ¹ 

Open for me the gates of the just king’s temple! ¹  I will enter through them and give thanks to the Lord.

¹ On a bare hill raise a signal flag, shout to them, wave your hand, so they might enter the gates of the princes!

When the Moabites plead with all their might at their high places, ¹  and enter their temples to pray, their prayers will be ineffective! ² 

Go, my people! Enter your inner rooms! Close your doors behind you! Hide for a little while, until his angry judgment is over! ¹

For it does not enter his heart but his stomach, and then goes out into the sewer.” ¹  (This means all foods are clean.) ² 

If your foot causes you to sin, cut it off! It is better to enter life lame than to have ¹  two feet and be thrown into hell. ² 

Then ¹  Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, “How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God!”
