so that you may bear your disgrace and be ashamed of all you have done in consoling them.

Because he considered ¹  and turned from all the sins he had done, he will surely live; he will not die.

Moreover, they have done this to me: In the very same day ¹  they desecrated my sanctuary and profaned my Sabbaths.

Then you will do as I have done: You will not cover your lip or eat food brought by others. ¹ 

I am delighted to tell you about the signs and wonders that the most high God has done for me.

The Lord confirms this oath ¹  by the arrogance of Jacob: ²  “I swear ³  I will never forget all you have done! ⁴ 

Abimelech summoned Abraham and said to him, “What have you done to us? What sin did I commit against you that would cause you to bring such great guilt on me and my kingdom? ¹  You have done things to me that should not be done!” ²

“What have you done?” Laban demanded of Jacob. “You’ve deceived me ¹  and carried away my daughters as if they were captives of war! ² 

for I really was kidnapped ¹  from the land of the Hebrews and I have done nothing wrong here for which they should put me in a dungeon.”

Then the king of Egypt summoned ¹  the midwives and said to them, “Why have you done this and let the boys live?” ² 

Now the Israelites had done ¹  as Moses told them – they had requested from the Egyptians ²  silver and gold items and clothing.

Jethro rejoiced ¹  because of all the good that the Lord had done for Israel, whom he had delivered from the hand of Egypt.

So the priest will make atonement ¹  on his behalf before the Lord and he will be forgiven ²  for whatever he has done to become guilty.” ³
