Now you say, ‘Go and say to your master, “Elijah is back,”’ ¹  but he will kill me.”

But now, get me a musician.” ¹  When the musician played, the Lord energized him, ² 

Now, O Lord, you are the true God; ¹  you have made this good promise to your servant. ² 

Realize ¹  now that the Lord has chosen you to build a temple as his sanctuary. Be strong and do it!”

Now I am sending you Huram Abi, ¹  a skilled and capable man,

Now let my lord send to his servants the wheat, barley, olive oil, and wine he has promised;

Now, O Lord God of Israel, may the promise you made to your servant David be realized. ¹

Now listen to me! Send back those you have seized from your brothers, for the Lord is very angry at you!” ¹ 

Now I intend ¹  to make a covenant with the Lord God of Israel, so that he may relent from his raging anger. ² 

“And now what are we able to say after this, our God? For we have forsaken your commandments

But because it is heavier ¹  than the sand ²  of the sea, that is why my words have been wild. ³ 

if you become ¹  pure ²  and upright, ³  even now he will rouse himself ⁴  for you, and will restore ⁵  your righteous abode. ⁶ 

And further, ¹  when you say that his anger does not punish, ²  and that he does not know transgression! ³

As the mountains surround Jerusalem, ¹  so the Lord surrounds his people, now and forevermore.

How tragic that the once-faithful city has become a prostitute! ¹  She was once a center of ²  justice, fairness resided in her, but now only murderers. ³ 

So now, residents of Jerusalem, ¹  people ²  of Judah, you decide between me and my vineyard!

You have heard; now look at all the evidence! ¹  Will you not admit that what I say is true? ²  From this point on I am announcing to you new events that are previously unrevealed and you do not know about. ³
