do you say about the one whom the Father set apart ¹  and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’?

She replied, ¹  “Yes, Lord, I believe ²  that you are the Christ, ³  the Son of God who comes into the world.” ⁴ 

When ¹  Judas ²  had gone out, Jesus said, “Now the Son of Man is glorified, and God is glorified in him.

So when Jesus saw his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing there, he said to his mother, “Woman, ¹  look, here is your son!”

So Joseph, a Levite who was a native of Cyprus, called by the apostles Barnabas (which is translated “son of encouragement”), ¹ 

He also came to Derbe ¹  and to Lystra. ²  A disciple ³  named Timothy was there, the son of a Jewish woman who was a believer, ⁴  but whose father was a Greek. ⁵ 

But when the son of Paul’s sister heard about the ambush, ¹  he came and entered ²  the barracks ³  and told Paul.

Instead someone testified somewhere: “What is man that you think of him ¹  or the son of man that you care for him?

So also Christ did not glorify himself in becoming high priest, but the one who glorified him was God, ¹  who said to him, “You are my Son! Today I have fathered you,” ² 

If anyone ¹  confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God resides ²  in him and he in God.

Now who is the person who has conquered the world except the one who believes that ¹  Jesus is the Son of God?

So Jesus answered them, ¹  “I tell you the solemn truth, ²  the Son can do nothing on his own initiative, ³  but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father ⁴  does, the Son does likewise. ⁵ 

and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down. For it is written, ‘He will command his angels concerning you’ ¹  and ‘with their hands they will lift you up, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’” ² 

Jesus said to him, “Foxes have dens, and the birds in the sky ¹  have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.” ² 

But so that you may know ¹  that the Son of Man ²  has authority on earth to forgive sins” – then he said to the paralytic ³  – “Stand up, take your stretcher, and go home.” ⁴ 

Whenever ¹  they persecute you in one place, ²  flee to another. I tell you the truth, ³  you will not finish going through all the towns ⁴  of Israel before the Son of Man comes.

The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Look at him, ¹  a glutton and a drunk, a friend of tax collectors ²  and sinners!’ ³  But wisdom is vindicated ⁴  by her deeds.” ⁵ 

For just as Jonah was in the belly of the huge fish ¹  for three days and three nights, ²  so the Son of Man will be in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights.

Isn’t this the carpenter’s son? Isn’t his mother named Mary? ¹  And aren’t his brothers James, Joseph, Simon, and Judas?

A ¹  Canaanite woman from that area came ²  and cried out, ³  “Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David! My daughter is horribly demon-possessed!”
