Before God and Christ Jesus and the elect angels, I solemnly charge you to carry out these commands without prejudice or favoritism of any kind. ¹ 

But to which of the angels ¹  has he ever said, “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet”? ² 

You made him lower than the angels for a little while. You crowned him with glory and honor. ¹ 

For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, ¹  but threw them into hell ²  and locked them up ³  in chains ⁴  in utter darkness, ⁵  to be kept until the judgment,

You also know that ¹  the angels who did not keep within their proper domain ²  but abandoned their own place of residence, he has kept ³  in eternal chains ⁴  in utter ⁵  darkness, locked up ⁶  for the judgment of the great Day.

“To ¹  the angel of the church in Smyrna write the following: ²  “This is the solemn pronouncement of ³  the one who is the first and the last, the one who was dead, but ⁴  came to life:

“To ¹  the angel of the church in Pergamum write the following: ²  “This is the solemn pronouncement of ³  the one who has the sharp double-edged sword: ⁴ 

And I saw a powerful angel proclaiming in a loud voice: “Who is worthy to open the scroll and to break its seals?”

Then ¹  the second angel blew his trumpet, and something like a great mountain of burning fire was thrown into the sea. A ²  third of the sea became blood,

They have as king over them the angel of the abyss, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek, Apollyon. ¹ 

Then ¹  the sixth angel blew his trumpet, and I heard a single voice coming from the ²  horns on the golden altar that is before God,

Then ¹  the four angels who had been prepared for this ²  hour, day, ³  month, and year were set free to kill ⁴  a third of humanity.

Then ¹  the angel I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven

Now ¹  I heard the angel of the waters saying: “You are just ²  – the one who is and who was, the Holy One – because you have passed these judgments, ³ 

After these things I saw another angel, who possessed great authority, coming down out of heaven, and the earth was lit up by his radiance. ¹ 

Then ¹  I saw an angel descending from heaven, holding ²  in his hand the key to the abyss and a huge chain.

and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down. For it is written, ‘He will command his angels concerning you’ ¹  and ‘with their hands they will lift you up, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’” ² 

This is the one about whom it is written: ‘Look, I am sending my messenger ahead of you, ¹  who will prepare your way before you.’ ² 

For the Son of Man will come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will reward each person according to what he has done. ¹ 

“See that you do not disdain one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven. ¹
