Therefore I say, ‘Listen ¹  to me. I, even I, will explain what I know.’

He made the moon to mark the months, ¹  and the sun sets according to a regular schedule. ² 

ו (Vav) May I experience your loyal love, ¹  O Lord, and your deliverance, ²  as you promised. ³ 

I am determined to obey ¹  your statutes at all times, to the very end.

Too bad for the wicked sinners! For they will get exactly what they deserve. ¹ 

For with mocking lips and a foreign tongue he will speak to these people. ¹ 

Isaiah replied, ¹  “This is your sign from the Lord confirming that the Lord will do what he has said:

Look, I have decreed: ¹  I will not keep silent, but will pay them back; I will pay them back exactly what they deserve, ² 

The boundary line will extend beyond that, straight west from there to the Hill of Gareb and then turn southward to Goah. ¹ 

Then I perceived that the glory of the God of Israel was there, as in the vision I had seen earlier in the valley.

They replied as Jesus had told them, and the bystanders ¹  let them go.

“But as for that day or hour no one knows it – neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son ¹  – except the Father.

like the accounts ¹  passed on ²  to us by those who were eyewitnesses and servants of the word ³  from the beginning. ⁴ 

so that you may know for certain ¹  the things you were taught. ² 

When Jesus perceived ¹  their hostile thoughts, ²  he said to them, ³  “Why are you raising objections ⁴  within yourselves?

Treat others ¹  in the same way that you would want them to treat you. ² 

So those who were sent ahead found ¹  it exactly ²  as he had told them.

Then they wanted to take him into the boat, and immediately the boat came to the land where they had been heading.

But Peter began and explained it to them point by point, ¹  saying,

From the descendants ¹  of this man ²  God brought to Israel a Savior, Jesus, just as he promised. ³
