He says, “I will build myself a large palace with spacious upper rooms.” He cuts windows in its walls, panels it ¹  with cedar, and paints its rooms red. ² 

Then he measured the temple as 175 feet ¹  long, the courtyard of the temple and the building and its walls as 175 feet ²  long,

Now the upper chambers were narrower, because the galleries took more space from them than from the lower and middle chambers of the building.

He replied, “To build a temple ¹  for her in the land of Babylonia. ²  When it is finished, she will be placed there in her own residence.”

Now ¹  as Jesus was going out of the temple courts and walking away, his disciples came to show him the temple buildings. ² 

Jesus said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? Not one stone will be left on another. ¹  All will be torn down!” ² 

“We heard him say, ‘I will destroy this temple made with hands and in three days build another not made with hands.’”

Then ¹  he said, ‘I ²  will do this: I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods.

We are coworkers belonging to God. ¹  You are God’s field, God’s building.

The elders of the Jews continued building and prospering, while at the same time ¹  Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo continued prophesying. They built and brought it to completion by the command of the God of Israel and by the command of Cyrus and Darius and Artaxerxes king of Persia.

They agreed ¹  to make large seagoing merchant ships; ²  they built the ships in Ezion Geber.

Because you favor Zion, do what is good for her! ¹  Fortify ²  the walls of Jerusalem! ³ 

‘I will give you an eternal dynasty ¹  and establish your throne throughout future generations.’” ²  (Selah)

It will be a day for rebuilding your walls; in that day your boundary will be extended. ¹ 

Let each of us please his neighbor for his good to build him up.

The one who speaks in a tongue builds himself up, ¹  but the one who prophesies builds up the church.

In him ¹  the whole building, ²  being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord,

So Solomon finished building the temple. ¹ 

You must build the altar of the Lord your God with whole stones and offer burnt offerings on it to the Lord your God.

As the temple was being built, only stones shaped at the quarry ¹  were used; the sound of hammers, pickaxes, or any other iron tool was not heard at the temple while it was being built.
