And in this way, ¹  with many other exhortations, John ²  proclaimed good news to the people.

and he sent ¹  them out to proclaim ²  the kingdom of God ³  and to heal the sick. ⁴ 

Then ¹  Pilate said to the chief priests and the crowds, “I find no basis for an accusation ²  against this man.”

angry ¹  because they were teaching the people and announcing ²  in Jesus the resurrection of the dead.

So Philip started speaking, ¹  and beginning with this scripture ²  proclaimed the good news about Jesus to him.

But you know it was because of a physical illness that I first proclaimed the gospel to you,

if indeed ¹  you have heard of the stewardship ²  of God’s grace that was given to me for you,

And by being perfected in this way, he became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him,

but the word of the Lord ¹  endures forever. ²  And this is the word that was proclaimed to you.

For ¹  this is the gospel ²  message ³  that you have heard from the beginning: that we should love one another, ⁴ 

The ¹  number of soldiers on horseback was two hundred million; ²  I heard their number.

“Tell the Israelites, ‘In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you must have a complete rest, a memorial announced by loud horn blasts, ¹  a holy assembly.

After all, ¹  you picked them out of all the nations of the earth to be your special possession, ²  just as you, O sovereign Lord, announced through your servant Moses when you brought our ancestors out of Egypt.”

Therefore take note that not one of the judgments the Lord announced against Ahab’s dynasty has failed to materialize. The Lord had done what he announced through his servant Elijah.” ¹ 

You have heard; now look at all the evidence! ¹  Will you not admit that what I say is true? ²  From this point on I am announcing to you new events that are previously unrevealed and you do not know about. ³ 

Leave Babylon! Flee from the Babylonians! Announce it with a shout of joy! Make this known! Proclaim it throughout the earth! ¹  Say, ‘The Lord protects ²  his servant Jacob.

Her prophets coat their messages with whitewash. ¹  They see false visions and announce lying omens for them, saying, ‘This is what the sovereign Lord says,’ when the Lord has not spoken.

Burn a thank offering of bread made with yeast! ¹  Make a public display of your voluntary offerings! ²  For you love to do this, you Israelites.” The sovereign Lord is speaking!

Which of the prophets did your ancestors ¹  not persecute? ²  They ³  killed those who foretold long ago the coming of the Righteous One, ⁴  whose betrayers and murderers you have now become! ⁵ 

Then Paul took the men the next day, ¹  and after he had purified himself ²  along with them, he went to the temple and gave notice ³  of the completion of the days of purification, ⁴  when ⁵  the sacrifice would be offered for each ⁶  of them.
