Then he put the large basin between the tent of meeting and the altar and put water in it ¹  for washing.

Whenever they entered ¹  the tent of meeting, and whenever they approached ²  the altar, they would wash, ³  just as the Lord had commanded Moses.

For you say, ‘Where now is the nobleman’s house, ¹  and where are the tents in which the wicked lived?’ ² 

He abandoned ¹  the sanctuary at Shiloh, the tent where he lived among men.

How miserable I am! ¹  For I have lived temporarily ²  in Meshech; I have resided among the tents of Kedar. ³ 

Laban overtook Jacob, and when Jacob pitched his tent in the hill country of Gilead, Laban and his relatives set up camp there too. ¹

Joshua rewarded ¹  them and sent them on their way; they returned to their homes. ² 

After ¹  these things I looked, and the temple (the tent ²  of the testimony) ³  was opened in heaven,

the hangings of the courtyard, its posts and its bases, and the curtain for the gateway of the courtyard, its ropes and its tent pegs, and all the furnishings ¹  for the service of the tabernacle, for the tent of meeting;

Their tents and their flocks will be taken away. Their tent curtains, equipment, and camels will be carried off. People will shout ¹  to them, ‘Terror is all around you!’” ² 

“You are to present ¹  Aaron and his sons at the entrance of the tent of meeting. You are to wash ²  them with water

Aaron and his sons are to eat the meat of the ram and the bread that was in the basket at the entrance of the tent of meeting.

With it he made the bases for the door of the tent of meeting, the bronze altar, the bronze grating for it, and all the utensils of the altar,

“You are to bring ¹  Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the tent of meeting and wash them with water.

Then that high priest must take some of the blood ¹  of the bull and bring it to the Meeting Tent.

The priest who offers it for sin is to eat it. It must be eaten in a holy place, in the court of the Meeting Tent.

So Moses did just as the Lord commanded him, and the congregation assembled at the entrance of the Meeting Tent.

He must then take the two goats ¹  and stand them before the Lord at the entrance of the Meeting Tent,
